What is Size?
Definition
Size is one of Acceptable Ads standards.
Meaning explained
Size is one of three main areas of Acceptable Ads Standards issued by Acceptable Ads Committee (AAC). According to the standard, the sum of all ads visible in a browser window when page is first loaded should not exceed 15% of the visible portion of a page and 25% when ads are placed lower on a page. In addition, ads must meet criteria for size limitations in relation to pages’ primary content:
- 200px high when above the primary content
- 350px wide when on the side of the primary content
- 400px high when placed below the primary content
Additionally, ads should also always leave a sufficent space for the primary content.
The other two areas are Placement and Distinction.
